I understand the question but can't answer in Portuguese...Sorry.

Benchmarking is a process that a company undergoes in order to improve its performance. Usually a leading company is chosen as model, or a Benchmark, and being analyzed performance-wise. The firm then determines how it should improve its own performance, according to the information on the model company.
