Yes, that is So true how people HAVE tainted and corrupted the Truth of the  scriptures, you are right, Cred.  I don't know what Jesus would say or think about that to be honest.

I believe  that was the same Jesus, it was not a cover up.  He WAS born through Mary and was Joseph's son. (Yoshua ben Yosef, just being being Greek for Joseph's son), as you already know that. :)  No they were not married at that time, but I believe that God planned for Mary to be the mother of Jesus and being the son Joseph to be his father (and for him to be concieved by His (God's Spirit, The Holy Spirit)  to let people know that He would accept anyone no matter what. Mary, also had a pure, righteous heart, just her situation wasn't thought of as right. God knew her true heart and how devoted she was to Him, though.

About Jesus raising an army if He were the True Messiah he would do that, he Is raising up an army. All of those who had accepted Him as their Savior/Messiah is in His Spiritual army. That's why there is spiritual warfare, God's army through Jesus being the most powerful army there is spiritually speaking. 

The sword speaking about the Word of God, the Bible being our defense, the Sword of the Spirit; Jesus brings a sword, also to slay and divide the forces of darkness away by his blood and with people praying to God, He is also our Lord and fellow intercessor with us to God for our requests to be made know to God.  And also with the entire armor of defense... the helmet of Salvation from God through Jesus Christ, the Shield of faith having faith in Jesus as your savior (even if we don't see him), the belt of Truth in Jesus, the breastplate of rightousness (living a right life before God), because it also says that even though we have been forgiven of our sins, that does not mean that we should continue to induldge in them) because in doing that we would just be living like the rest of the world and we would not be lights in the a dark, immoral world. God is God, he likes moral living.

Provide honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. 1st Corinthians 8:21

 God will help us to live a righteous live, if we ask Him to help, He will, because God is not forceful, that's why he gives us a choice and is waiting for US to ask and invite Him to. ... And last of the armor...  having shod ( http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/shod) your feet with the preperation for the gospel of peace.  

Remember peace doesn't neccesarily mean that everyone agrees, it's just harmony amongest one another. (Agreeing to disagree, my words) . and it means  freedom of the mind from annoyance, distraction, anxiety, an obsession, etc.; tranquillity; serenity, ... plus other definitions...cessation of or freedom from any strife or dissension ... plus more definitions... Jesus also came to bring peace by giving us eternal peace in our souls of where we would go when we die... Jesus says "No one comes to the Father, God except through me" and where is God? He is up in heaven... and also omnipresent (everywhere at the same time) That's the mystery of God, He is omnipresent! and omnipotent (Almighty!)
