Switch off passanger airbag

How do I switch off the passanger side airbag on a 2008 Daihatsu Sirion?

I tried looking for a switch or a toggle but couldn't find one. Can it only be done by a mechanic?

Hi,

There should be an airbag cutoff switch in the glove box of all models.

The indicator on the instrument panel will tell you whether you were successful.

I'm not sure this model has such a possibility.

Whatever you do, don't disable it by force, because you will impair your kid's safety and whoever sits in the front seat later.
