Swirls in the new finish

We just had our walnut floors refinshed. He used a Glitsa Swedish satin finish. 3 coats. When we fewed the floors you can see the circular marks left by the machine we assume from the buffying between the coats. He is telling us that this will not show in a few months. That the finish needs to "settle" I have never had walnut refinished, but I have had oak refinished 3 times in different houses and this has never happened. What should we do. He is willing to buff and add a 4th coat.
