Hi, I had a myomectomy, or (removal of fibroids). After the surgery, my lower belly is kind of swallen...I can feel it inside. What's a good remedy for these kind of stuff? Thank you.
What goes around comes around
It depends what the swelling is from. If there is an infection you need antibiotics but it seems that this isn't the case. If it is from fluid in the area I would consult with your doctor who can prescribe something for this situation.
Feel better.
Sometimes it takes a while for the swelling to resolve itself. You didn't say how long ago the surgery was. You also didn't say if you had a "laproscopic surgery" or abdominal incision. In the latter they actually cut muscle. So there are a lot of factors in the recovery time and the resolution and the "swollen abdomen." If you run a fever, pain increases, you should call your doctor immediately.
