Carol O, why are you so bitter?
I can't think of any woman in America (including me) who supports Palin. McCain could have done a lot better with a man as his running mate -- almost ANY man -- but face it honey, the VP's job is not that important. The Veep goes around on the "Rubber Chicken" circuit and if the President dies or becomes gravely disabled, the VP takes over -- subject to the approval of the House and Senate.
I remember when Gerald Ford -- the Speaker of the House -- was sworn in as President after VP Agnew had to resign from the Oval Office. That was because Agnew didn't get a 1+ vote majority of the House and 2/3 of the Senate confirmation.
Carol, I don't think you have anything to worry about, unless we suffer Obama bin Laden in office.
THEN, you have plenty to worry about.
