Suit jacket stitch

I just bought a new suit and the jacket has an x stitched on the bottom of the back of it. Do I need to cut this out or leave it? It is a black suit and this stitch is white so it doesn't look very good. It's about 1x1 on the bottom middle

After suits are completed they must be prepared for shipping. Here they stitch closed the jacket's side pockets and the slit in the lower center of the back of the jacket. You should remove the white X so that the slit opens. It is a leftover of the time when man carried swords.
