Student expelled for "provocative" behavior

Do you think that a Brazilian university was justified in expelling a student for wearing a short skirt and allegedly acting in a "provocative" manner?  Or was the university right to allow the student to return to class?

The lowest servant in Heaven is still in Heaven.

Whoever rules in hell is still in hell, but they won't rule for long.

All Universities have a responsibility to maintain reasonable ethics and disciplinary standards.  Obviously, the University gave her instruction in their dress code, and obviously, she decided to go out of her way to flaunt the rules.

These rules exist for reasonable good cause: people who are inclined to break rules don't care what rules they break, and in time it results in violence or unacceptable intrusion into the lives of others.  Sympathy games are insults, of course, but the more important matter is that only gullible fools will play these tacky games.

The reason we call a degree major a Discipline, is that the primary reason to attend college is to gain priceless discipline.  If she will not gain discipline, then punitive expulsion is not only necessary, it is fully appropriate.  If she wants to go to school naked, fine, find a nudist university.  But don't expect a degree that an alley cat would respect.

Obviously, AOL News is trying yet another ignorant sympathy stunt for rebellious man haters and will do absolutely anything to promote their failed left wing extremist "causes."  They already went on record officially condoning leftist vigilantes in America and violent leftist protests in our communities.

The madness has to stop somewhere.  If a AOL goes wildly hysterical over a Brazilian student being expelled for flaunting necessary and appropriate disciplinary standards, rules of conduct, and an agreed-to dress code, then how far will they go to promote other leftist bitterness and angry defiance of all that is appropriate?

It seems that they always try to put foreward the issues that are derogatory to the right and propel issues that are advantageous to the left. If Bush can be defamed, that's right up their alley! Yes, they are very liberal and left of center.
