Stressful Wedding Shopping made less stressful

As a first time bride with no previous experience, I purchased my bridesmaids dresses and wedding gown from the same vendor, a vendor located on Hazelton lanes, however it was a super stressful experience, Should it be and can I expect the same for other wedding related purchasing I need to do? And what can I do to help it not be so stressful?

Someone once told me that your wedding is only three hours out of your entire life, what counts is what comes after that... Also, the dress was a choice you probably had to make by yourself, if other purchases are things you had to decide on with other people this might releive some of the pressure. Also, bear in mind that everyone at the wedding is going to be rooting for you, so sounds like this is a pretty positive experience after all... Good luck! Smile

Wedding Planning and shopping can be quite stress free these days with the vast amount of choices for every budget available online. Your wedding related purchases can be quite stress free. There are many resources for purchasing your wedding favors and gifts for your guests, there are endless sources to ease your stress through wedding calenderes and time line sheets for wedding planning articles and resources. Your experience can be quite fun on the contrary.

Sorry to hear that!  The whole process of planning a wedding can be stressful.  If you know other people who are getting married or have gotten married you can use referrals from them so the searching for various wedding vendors will be less stressful.  If a vendor is pushy or doesn't click with you I wouldn't use them either.  Try to keep other people's opinions to a minimum as well :)  We try to put a lot of  helpful information on our blog for our clients and potential clients!  You can check it out here:

The best advice I got before my wedding was to focus on the guests instead of myself. It's not about  you and your perfection or your money or lack thereof. Think of yourself as a gracious hostess, not as the center of attention, and you'll have so much more fun. Your guest will feel, share, and remember the love you showed them. You and your finance are already married in your hearts -  the wedding  formalizes that relationship in your community. So this is the first opportunity you and your husband have to demonstrate the role you want to play in your community of friends and family. Don't be blow it by worrying about yourselves and your perfect day, instead of opening your heats to those around you.
