I would think that if they are prepackaged it would be ok to store them in plastic bins. How many do you have...bins, as in 5 gallon bins?!
If its a large amount my only suggestion would be to make sure its in a safe area or maybe do get a 5 gallon bucket, an empty paint bucket (that hasn't been used of course haha) and stick them in another clear bag and then put it in the bucket....From my own experience if storing in mass amounts critters may get in if its not durable.....
