What are the fundamentals of stock market?

Is there anything in particular I should look into before investing? Is there any place one can learn about the stock market?

Get educated!

I'd suggest reading at least one of the following books:

1. Fundamentals of the Stock Market by B. O'Neill Wyss

2. Stock Investing For Dummies (For Dummies (Business & Personal Finance)) by Paul Mladjenovic

3. I Want To Make Money in the Stock Market: Learn to begin investing without losing your life savings! by Chris M. Hart

4. If You're Clueless About the Stock Market and Want to Know More by Seth Godin

Hi,


There are many books regarding this subject (One that I can recall is by O'Niel & Weiss "Fundamentals of the Stock Market").  If you want a short article read this one.   Please remember that it's not as easy as it seems, it is very unpredictable, and not only economic rules dominate it.

Read and much as you can.  Ask people who already have experience in the stock market for some advice.  Learn as much as you can before you take the plunge.  Then start of slowly - you will make mistakes but that's how you'll learn.
