Is is logical to run under rain or it does not make any difference in the extent of getting wet?

Hi,


Assuming that the rain falls equally per unit area per unit time along your way it will make no difference if you walk or run.....  Psychologically it gives you the filling that it's better to run, but it's only an illusion.  
However when the rain only starts and it's still a kind od drizle if you run you take advantage of the short time B4 it getting cats and dog rain.....
Years ago one of mine professors gave that question to the class and that was our final conclusion.
