You can do 1 of these things to prevent it:
  1. After removing the water, insert a chunk of butter or
      olive-oil and mix it together.
  2. before inserting the pasta in the boiling water, insert
olive-oil and only then insert the pasta.

I like way number 1 better (also tastes better  Wink)

There's a third way:

after cooking the paste, wash it with cold water for 30-60 seconds and leave it to dry in a strainer for a few minutes.

When the water are boiling add some sea salt, then add some olive oil then add the pasta.

When the pasta is ready take it out of the water, wash it quickly with some water (not cold water) then add some virgin olive oil and stir it well, it will not stick.

good evening from Israel,

There are some reasons why your pasta is sticking.

Either you boil it too much or you dont pour water on it after cooking to finish the cooking stage.

Also, do you put enough water in the pot?

One other tip to avoid sticking, is to stir during the first minute or two of cooking. If you don't stir, pieces of pasta that are touching one another literally cook together.

Use a large pot and also reduce the heat a little agter boiling.

Don't forget to salt the water .

Let me know if it helped

The stickiness will help the pasta to hold your souce on it.

If you want to eliminate this stickiness all together just rinse the pasta under the tap with cold water and then drizzle some olive oil on it and mix.

BTW, when the pasta gets cooler it will also stick together.
All you have to do is to pour some hot water on it and it will become loose again.

Hi.

In order to achive that - here is what you need to pay attention to:

1. Use a good quality pasta

(De Checko is my number 1)

2. Use plenty of water - 1 litter for evey 100 gr pasta you are cooking

3. Put some olive oil in the water while you are boiling them, and also some salt

4. Put the pasta in the water while they are boiling and bubbling on high flame.

5. Keep on cooking it on very high heat.

6. Do not overcook your pasta - look at the time on the package.

7. If you intend to put the pasta in a take-away box while it is still hot, - cook it 1-2 minutes less then is written on the package

8. After pasta is ready - strain immedietly, and do NOT wash

9. Have the sauce ready for the pasta - (Never let the pasta wait for the sauce to be ready, you can have the sauce waiting for the pasta)

10. note: In the last minute of cooking the pasta - you can take away some of the pasta cooking water aside in a small cup. You can use this water if/when needed  - in case the sauce is too thick.

Enjoy your pasta !
