I have a 98 chevy cheyene 2500 5.7 w/tbi, i'm having problems starting motor i hear electric fuel pump when i turn on key But just turns over when i try to start it when i put a little gas in Trotle body starts up and runs good just when i try to step on it to get on freeway no power at all i have changed fuel filter already can someone help me

your catalytic converter may be clogged. I don't see why that would cause the no start condition. the fuel strainer at the fuel pump in the gas tank may be partially clogged. you can remove the catalytic converter and take a short test drive (very loudly). If the engine runs well then, you will have to replace the converter. Pull the trouble codes first to narrow the cause.
