The sky is not THE LIMIT, the sky is Just a limit....Think Askew!!!
A:

if the question is what STAR (not planet) then i think (i might be wrong here) that you see Altair, if i remember right it's it the morning star, as for planets, venus is now on the other side of the sun so i think you see Mercury or Mars who is now at it's closest position (happens once every 2 years)

It might be a planet. I thought everyone could see it. About 6 AM PCT looking east it's the only thing in the sky.
