Stain coloring problem

I rebcently refinished my kitchen cabinets. I used minwax cherry (235). the problem I have is I ran out and when I went and got a new can the new can did not color like the first one. The first color had more of a reddish tint and the new can has more of a brownish tint.  Any suggestions on what to do?
