Squeaking wind shield wipers

Recently, my wind shield wipers started squeaking - Their rubber turned quite dry. Does anyone know if it's fixable or whether I should buy new ones ?

Hey James

How old is your car? does the rubber feel old, I mean does it look burn out a bit? if so I would suggest replacing them, it doesn't cost much and in the winter, which is coming up, it's better to be safe then sorry...Plus I think it's better for your wind shield as well...

George is right, buy new ones. You don't want to find yourself with ineffective wipers when it's raining.
