A small correction to lilly's answer: according to Israel Land Law from 1965, paragraph 18, owners, too, can't throw squatters by using force if the squatters are living in the building for more than 30 days without getting a court order. It is worth stating that even within the 30 days, thwe owners can only use reasonable force, so there's some limitation even in that respect.
This causes a serious problems for apartments owners who rent their apartments to people who refuse to leave the apartment at the end of the contract.
