Squash rot when young, results in no produce.

I live in Rock Hill, SC. My squash plants grow very good, tall and green, but the fruit when very young develop rot on the end and results in no fruit. We have had plenty of rain. I did lime the garden very heavy in Jan./Feb and tilled in the ground very good. I just don't know what causes the ends of the squash to rot. This is the second year it has happened. Any ideas?
