Spring is soap dispenser door has no tension

The soap dispenser is in the washing machine door. The spring isn't opening the soap door to let the soap tablet out. The spring isn't broken but just seems to not be connected properly anymore as it is just loose. Does anyone know how the spring should be connected to create tension? Thank you, Gene

I figured it out last night.  The ends of the spring had come unhooked which resulted in no tension for the soap dispenser door.  I was able to squeeze the spring together and use a screwdriver to get each end of the spring reattached.

Now there is tension again and the door is opening as it should. Smile
