Spooky

Can a battery operated toy play without pressing anything on it?  No one was near it when it kept playing music.  Then it finally stopped. Maybe a hour later my daughter started to play with it and it would'nt work.  Only to find out the batteries have died.

Something shorted out, that's why it played by itself.

K, Sometimes a battery operated device will work on its own for a short period of time, to let you know the battery is getting low.  One of my smoke detectors does it all the time.  It starts beeping like crazy when the battery is running low.  Once I replace the battery, the beeping stops.

Some toys do operate when the batteries are dying....

Is there a reason you suspected a possible paranormal connection? Is there other events that occur to make you think so?
