I agree.  However, my being alone is a very new thing, so it is liberating.  I don't have to take care of anyone else or worry about how they feel about my life, the things I choose to do, the people I care for and how I use my time.  It will be interesting to see if I feel the same way in the months to come.  I know that now, I have the opportunity to focus on myself for a change, and sometimes that is vital to remaining happy and healthy.
