Where are "speed interview" sessions held with multiple radio stations in one big room? On MTVs "Making of the Band," Danity Kane did interviews in a conference-style hall with tons of tables and DJ interviewers. They went from table to table like one of those "speed dating" lunches. Where are those mass interviews held and which organization arranges and hosts these events?
The location as well as the organization / person[s] involved in arranging them vary per artist / location.
In most cases, these mass interviews or 'speed interviews' are arranged by the artists publicist and / or management group.
If signed to a major label, then it is typically handled by the Label's PR firm or group, however if unsigned or signed to an indie label it is typically handled by the artist's personal publicist or manager.
The location of these interviews vary greatly, however many larger major labels have designated locations for these type of events which are typically located within the Label's building via a conference room or rented location where they audition / review new bands suggested or showcased by in-house A&R.
