No Sound on PC

I have no sound on my PC.  My Device Manage says that everything is working correctly.  I have replaced my speakers (twice) and that doesn't help.  I have tried to download a new driver, but I do not know what type of sound card I have.  I had this computer professionally built to my specs, so I can't get help from any sites like "Dell" or "HP".  Any suggestions???

Have you checked the systems master volume level? And that audio is enabled in the BIOS?

Presuming your are just running onboard sound go to you mother boards website and you should find the audio driver for your board on there.

Go to Settings => Control Panel=> then Sound and Audio Devices, see if all settings including volume and device are correct, then use troubleshoot after identifying the correct card, (use trial and error if needed)

Nothing feels sexier than eating food from the dirt, wearing soft soxz.

In your<control panel> System>hardware>device manager> look for >sound, video and game controllers. Your sound card should be there. (Mine is a Santa Cruz) If you don't have anything listed you need to get in touch with the custom builder of your machine. Other than that all I can think to check would be your headphone jack, making sure nothing is plugged into it. I hope this helped in some way. I know how frustrating technology can be.

Check your Sounds control panel thingy to make sure the correct sound card is selected. Also make sure nothing is muted... You should be able to see what kind of sound card you have via the Device Manager. If it doesn't list a sound card then your sc probably has a hardware problem.
