No Sound on GPS

I have a Megallan Road-MAte 360 GPS and was not working just right so I reset the GPS with the repair program. When it cam back on every thing was working good excpect there was no sound no alert tones and no voice. I contacted Magellan support for help and they told me to go buy another one. This unit is only 4 years old and would like to fix it if possible can you help? Thanks

Anyone know a good repair shop for Magellan GPS Units. I have a Magellan Meridian GPS. Ian else, to a support technician who told me that Magellan no longer supports my GPS (sportrak , they would sell me one of their latest GPS units at a discount (about what you'd pay on ebay). I like my
