Songs in English and other languages

The conversation I had with MackTheKnife on the

Oscars question started me thinking about the song "Mack the Knife."  It was popular in German before it became popular in English.  Are there other songs that were originally in other languages, and later became hits in English?

I should have thought about it before:

Many of Antonio Carlos Jobim's songs were translated from Portuguese to English, and some of them became huge hits. The most obvious example is "The Girl From Ipanema", and besides that you can also find "Waters Of March", "How Insensitive", "Desafinado (Slightly Out Of Tune)" and "Corcovado (Quiet Night Of Quiet Stars)".
