Hi,

Software is a computed programe. At the end of the developing phase it has to undergo a test. This test is a simulaion for the real situation that the programe will find when it's released. Example: You programed a game. You want to make it open for public use. Sure you have to test it (above testing it if it really works). What happends if many users enter at the same time ? What happend if a certain user will use it not as he is expected ? What will happend if the data that the user provides is too big / is wrong / or impossible ? Is it properly protected ? etc etc.....
