Social Networking Sites - what do you think?

What do you think about the SNS (Social Networkign Sites) such as MySpace, FaceBook, Bebo, Orkut and such?

Don't you think they get repetative and boring after a while? I mean, what more would you like to see in Social Networking sites?

Do you find them comfy to use? Too simple, too complex? Please share your opinions! :)

"If there ain't solution, there ain't problem"

Web 2.0 is a child who must learn from it's mistakes, several website are  everything but a simple DOS (Duplication of Services) from another SNS (Social Networkign Sites) with nothing really more "interresting" or more relevent ...

So why does they built another one ? The keyword is, IMO, reasearch and developpement, the networking effect whith billions of services in a so short time is really a new factor ...

But in a long terme some services will merge into much bigger one or die , only the most popular and relevents one will survive. The really important factor in the future of SNS, is to secure networks (trust, relevence ..) , because nothing won't stay in this way as "everybody's my friend" attitude for a long time ...

Remember all search engines it used to be by the past ... in france only 3 really stay and only one is making 85% of the market ...

These sites are a very good platform to interact with people and share ideas.

I am working on these sites for last 5 yrs and should say have made 1000s of friends over socially as well as professionaly.

yes it is true, they're getting just too much. just found another one i australia http://scoreme.com.au Not that bad, is more for entertainment and fun, rating profiles and photos, meeting new people. However it looks like just another one one network, where you can't find new stuff which could make you to stay there

Social networking sites gives some entertainment to many of us and sometimes they also use it to sell some products or services on the web.
