A:

My daughter has a small house with a very small bathroom....Her door opened inward and hid half of the bathtub...

She took the door off the hinges and installed a really nice curtain rod on or above the door facing...She bought 2 fabric curtains or a fabric shower curtain and matching long curtain. ..She put a shower curtain liner behind the  bathtub curtain....

The bathtub ends at the door frame and is 90 degrees to the door.  The bathtub curtain and door curtain butt up against each other, forming an L shaped curtain.....

You would not believe how much bigger the room looks and how nice it is and looks.

There was green plastic tiles half way up on the non-bathtub walls..(People use to install this type of tile about 50 years ago)  .It was in good shape....It would have been a LOT of work and expense to replace it....Instead, she painted it a solid color, stippled it with a subtle color using a sponge....Then she took  a Fleur de Lis pattern stamp block and randomly stamped a few tiles as an accent....

She painted the the walls above the tile, and the ceiling.....

She added  some matching accessories. Also, towel racks and other hardware that matches the curtain rod on the door.

She did all this with very little money and it looks SOOOO much better.

I should add my daughter is very picky about decorating and that her house look very good and not "junky" (as she puts it)
