Small water leak coming from the second floor or roof.

I have some staining of my ceiling tile in the basement next to a wall that contains the drainage from the two upstairs bathrooms. There is no sign of a leak in either bathroom I'm wondering if possibly there is a leak in the roof or how I can possibly check to see where this water leak is coming from.
