Orange is the color opposite blue on the color wheel, therefore it is considered the most complementary color for blue. Try a pale peachy version on the walls, and use lots more wherever possible (furniture & curtains, for example) to neutralize the dark blue. If you want to really splash color around, yellow and purple also go well with both blue and orange. If you go with peach on the walls, stay pastel with your accents, too. Have fun! LB12star
