can you file a claims petition in pa against an insurer who fails to process your claim. In 12/03 I had a slip and fall. Insurer was notified of my claim but has taken no action on my claim. The attorney who represented me went after the corp operating the business on the premises where the accident occured. The jury's verdict rendered in my favor 09/07 did not reflect all the damages I was seeking. My attorney doesn't want to deal with my pending claim with the insurer. Is that correct.
