Slick tile dangerous, want to make it safer

I have very slippery tile in a new home, is there anything I can put on it to make it less slippery?

Labeled a "Home repair Specialist" by a national leading home repair franchise!

Unfortunately when installed it should have been a textured tile, but aside from painting it, I'd hit it w/ a grout cleaning acid. It slighly "etches" the surface of the tile as well as the grout giving it a duller finish as well!

I'm sorry it's no magical "super fix", but they clearly installed (what I consider to be wall tiles , even if sold in the flooring sections) Good luck w/ this

(ps good rubber backed mats clig really well to slicker tiles) Hope it helps!

There is one company who has the safest solution on the market.  Look at www.slipdoctors.com for the slip resistant solutions for safer floors.  They also distribute a safety foam tile that will work for pool deck.  All their products have your safety in mind.  Anti-slip treatments and anti-skid tiles for your family.  It worked in my bathroom, shower, tiles, kitchen when it was slick when wet.
