One of the things I like about Yedda is that all different kinds of people can, and do, use it. Some of those people are kids and I don't think that it makes any site look educational to have nude photos on it. I almost think that a child safe mode should be used to keep the perversion and sex questions out of view in the adult section. I like the idea of everybody being welcome, but I also like the idea that we are intellects regardless of our age or sex. There are plenty of sites for horny people to play on, this doesn't need to be one of them. There are few places like Yedda in existence now, and it would be a shame to have to lose openness of communication to stem perversity. Perhaps the simplest thing would be to just eliminate avatars, but I like mine, even if it is a waste of server processing time.
I have seen the other sites with the naked people and/or the major trend towards social and sex questions and they aren't that interesting to me. I like Yedda because it does seem so sober and serious. I agree with you that naked women and their pictures belong in the bedroom, and even though Groucho Marx is telling me to add a punchline here, I believe I've said enough.
