Isn't NASA supposed to blow up the moon tomorrow? Well, not really blow it up...but I will be watching. I love all this space stuff. Thanks for posting.

Two pieces of a NASA spacecraft – not bombs – will crash into the moon early Friday morning, hoping to kick up evidence of water ice at the bottom of a frigid south pole crater. For more information see this article.

All of this is exciting! Last night I watched a documentary on National Geographic where they talked about Saturn's moons. They thought one of them had water/an ocean in it as it spews water out of the geysers and it turns into ice. Which they believe has caused one of the rings on Saturn.

I love this stuff! Do you go to your local planetarium? I take a trip to mine once a month.

I like to watch space events from home. Here is the NASA web site if you haven't seen it.
