Site/software that hosts a customizable word list, database or dictionary online and shareable

I'd like to create an organized (maybe even searchable) shared acronyms or words list with corresponding definitions - more like a mini-dictionary.  Can anyone recommend a good website or software (maybe like a searchable database type) for that where maybe users have the ability to create their own dictionaries or word lists and then share them?  I think this could be handy for those of us who are bigtime readers and learning new words, definitions and acronyms all of the time - a good repository to store them in for later access.

See a new word-oriented non-photo website (by Flickr's company) called Wordie at:  http://www.wordie.org

Flickr has answered my prayers on this one!

Yeah, there was a recent good review on Wordie over at TechCrunch. I don't think it's from the Flickr folks though!

Acronyms and Abbreviations

I'm shure you will find all the acronyms and abbreviations there, because the website has a good structure because there are more than 700.000 Abbreviations and Acronyms in one place within more than 70 categories from Nasa to Internet.

You can also have a quick acronyms finder.

http://lazybase.com might be the answer - does anyone have any better recommendations?
