Can anyone direct me to a site to help me learn the identification of surgical instruments?  Any help would be appreciated.

You you can get books about surgical instruments in a bookstore or order them yourself. You have to learn what is in a minor set and in a major set. There are other sets of instruments for different operations. If you take classes at a technical college they usually have a mock surgical lab where you learn the instruments and can obtain books at the school. Our instructors also gave us handouts of pictures of instruments most often used. One of my friends is in clinical now and said the instruments we learned were about 1/3 of what is used and the surgeons don't even know  all the names of the instruments. It is a lot of memorize. Do a search on surgical instruments and different companies come up that sell them with clear pictures. Good luck.
