Shower diverter knob

I have 3 knobs (hot/cold/diverter).  When I turn the diverter knob, all the water does not go to the shower.  I have almost as much water coming from bottom faucet as there is from the shower head.  How to I fix this so I'm not wasting so much water?

A diverter valve, like all other valves, has parts that either wereout or get clogged by lime & calcium in the water. You can go to the web site for the manufacturer and look at the parts view for your product. This should help you to understand what is going on behind the handle. Now you can take it apart and fix it.
