The acknowledgement is a paragraph or two at the beginning that acknowledges or names everyone who helped in producing the project.

An acknowledgement is not only acknowledging the help in producing the project but a thank you for their assistence in helping on the project.

Here is the acknowledgement I used in one of my novels: Ghosts.

"To my beloved hubby Lester, whose brilliant imagination made this novel possible, and to my sons, Mike and Ryan, whose clothing allowance made this book necessary, and to someone who was there at the moment of my birth, who has guided me along every moment of my life, and to whom I shall always be deeply indebted: The Internal Revenue Service."

12:52 P.M. E.S.T. Certain Factors concerning science need to be explained, as to dates and the acknowledgement of the research, such as a proof exists through the accountability of its factor. One factor may be how something came to be and why it is a science. In reference one acknowledgement could be your interest in the science project.

There are limits of what an acknowledgement can be. What I mean is take the shortest explanation of the beginning to the end of the and or your project and note it. This would be considered as an acknowledgement. An acknowledgement is mostly what another interprets as an understanding. As of the previous posting an acknowledgement can be something as of a paragraph. So Proof, Accountability, and even Sequence are of acknowledgements. If you were to look up those three properties in the dictionary you would have acknowledged the acquaintance of them, another term understood.
