There is a whole more to this story that we are unaware of.  I don't believe the police had any right to question this boy without his mother or attorney present.  It sickens me how much of this case was leaked to the media--it was as if they already convicted him and angelized his father and friend.  There was something very suspicious going on.  I would certainly investigate more of the father and his roommate.  Just doesn't seem like it fits...
