Sexual abuses in this world of children

put them on an island of croc's and snakes?  hang them by their private parts... remove them?  something must be done to curb the horror done to children... daily, by  strangers and  even family members... putting a stop to prono would  help.... just when is something going to be done to protect our precious children...?   would 10 mins on this island equate the fear the little children suffer for ever?  I would hope so

i'm afraid to leave my grandson 2 ft out of my sight in a store or even the front yard....  Jail doesn't stop it, only seems to promote it...., countries that sell children for sex slaves should be banned from any kind of assistances period. from the world mkt.

I agree with you 100% and have had similar worries about bringing children into this world. It's become a very scary place to raise children. Something serious definitely needs to be done.

Everyone must be aware of the dangers and be vigilant in reporting suspicious behavior. It should be then up to law enforcement and the courts to mete out justice.

I was both abused as a child, and molested. I'm not at all sure to this day what kind of damage that has done me. I will admit that I am not a fully functional human able to cope with things. In my own little niche I'm okay, but if things change, go wrong, action needs to be taken, I'm not terribly competent. Nor have I had a successful relationship in my life, and I am extremely lonely. And one of the gentlest most loving people in the world. I think if this has happened to you, you go one of two ways. You either become an abuser yourself, or you become someone who finds violence abhorrent and are very gentle and loving. Only speculation on my part, but based on experience.

I don't think porn has anything to do with the problem. Pedophiles tend not to look at adult porn. Kiddy porn being illegal to start with, it could be dealt with, but there just simply isn't enough attention paid to it so not enough resources are put into the problem to deal with it effectively.

I think, somehow, that pedophiles are born with this problem. Just as you and I are born sexually attracted to whichever gender we're attracted to, pedophiles are incapable of being attracted to adults. Why? Who knows. But I know that attraction is one thing, making a choice to pursue that attraction is over the line.

Children grow up too fast now, compared to when I was a kid. And the sexualization of children doesn't help. I mean, kids in 5th and 6th grade are having sex. When I was in 6th grade I barely had a vague idea ofd what sex even was.

Yes, I do hate pedophiles. I don't know what the answer is. I don't have the need to see them violently punished. I don't feel any pity for them, though they are pitiful people, but I honestly don't think they can help it. I don't necessarily think the problem has grown larger, just that we're more aware of it.

KissUnfortunately, child sexual abuse will always be a part of our society. There are sick perverted people in every corner of the earth in our homes and in our bedrooms, and in our classrooms. As parents, grandparents and caretakers, we must educate our precious unnocent children. The stranger talk is never acceptable. Children must be educated about their feelings, if they feel uncomfortable around someone no matter who it is mommie, daddy , aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa etc.Children should not be made to kiss or hug anyone or even to say hello because if they don't their "being rude or disrespestful". Children must be educated about a good and bad touch. and also about their "bikini areas". There are several books to aid caretakers on this type of education for children. There are several types of abuse chldern need to be educated from including kidnapping. I  never left my children to be babysitted by anyone except their grandparents (my parents). I would'nt even leave them in my car parked in front of the store 10 steps away where I had a full visual on them, not even for a second. I cannot stress the importance of having a relationship with children that they are open and honest with you and will tell you. It is also of the upmost importance that caretakers fimaliraze themself with signs of sexual abuse. A child that is normally outgoing, becomming shy, not wanting to be in the presence of a certain person, showing reluctance to a person when ordinarily they were friendly, bedwetting of a normally dry child, grades slipping, underware inside out and/or blood tinged, reluctance to go to the bathroom. Society dosent protect our children. Some years ago they removed anatomically correct dolls for children yo use when sexual abuse was suspected. Why because they were afraid of coaching. Then just place the interview on video. There are too many organizations for the perpertrator and not enough for the victim. Abuse counselors need more intense training a child that has been abused is normally not going to devulge this to a stranger. It infuritates me can send a man into space but don't have the necessary trained qualified personnal in place to help protect our children.  A war can be fought for 8 years at the cost of a several million dollars daily, but a miniscule amount is spent for our children
