Setting up bit torrent

I do not know about utorrent, I use Aureus, they also ask you to open port but its optional.

Any how the port is the issue with ur router, nothing to do with torrent.

You need  to config your touter to diiver certain port request to the specific machine, and you need fixed IP on that machine, not to use DHCP.

You need to know your router exact name though.

You can also make it pretty automatic with a software they got -

I would however suggest you read about the meaning of port forward, router etc'.

To access you router and set up port forwarding: Type the IP address of your router into the address bar of your browser.
