Server Security Hardening - an exercise

how does one HARDEN a domain controller?

i also need to harden an exchange 2003 server.

* both should be done mostly via Group Policy

this is to be done as an excercise, currently doing the Windows 2003 Server course

no need for specific answers, just ideas and tips.

any tips?

When you say this is to be done as an exercise, then hardening implementation should be performed according to the criteria of the entity assigning the exercise, ostensibly the same entity from whom you are taking this Windows Server 2003 course...

Anyway, there are several books on the subject that can be obtained via Barnes & Noble, Amazon, or [perhaps] the training entity from which you are taking this course. If you do not wish to spend money, then utilize Google to locate free information on the subject via the web.
