Is Serena a Yale girl?

Serena is way too nice to Blair and she does not deserve it.  I think it is a shame that she will not be going to Yale but with everything happening with the parents, I cannot see her and Dan lasting!

I'm don't think Serena really wanted to go to Yale in the first place. She only applied during the time when she and Blair were fighting and she wanted to make Blair angry. Now it seems as if she was just trying to make Dan happy. To be honest, I think that she is more of a Brown girl, and would be happier there. As for her and Dan ... I'm not so sure at the moment. The whole joint family storyline is getting very complicated.

I think Blair not going to Yale reminds viewers that there are consequences to one's actions. (Although NYU is a very good school as well, her life is not ruined.) As for Serena, I'm glad she followed her heart and has decided to go where she thinks she'll be happiest.
