Senior dog food

At what age should I change my dogs food to senior, is there some way I can now without paying a visit to the vet?

Some people think that different foods are a big marketing scam which has a no purpose rather then to  bring profit to the company owners. But this wasn't your question ! Anyways  a senior dog is considered so when he has completed two thirds of his life expectancy. I am not sure what dog you have so check his life expectancy there are differences. There are exceptions if your dog is well fit , healthy and active you can still treat it as a young dog.
