Senior Health Care or Lack Of It?

An email that I recieved from a friend in Florida.

SENIOR DEATH WARRANTS:

 Obama wants to have our healthcare like Canada 's and England 's. In England
 Anyone over 59 cannot receive heart repairs or stents or bypass because it is not covered as it is too expensive and not needed. If Obama's plans in other areas don't scare you, this one should.

 When Congress passes Obama's plan it will be a Senior's Death Warrant.

 Everybody that is on this mailing list is either a senior citizen,

 Is getting close, or knows somebody that is.

 Most of you know by now that the Senate version ( at least ) of the "stimulus"
 Bill includes provisions for extensive rationing of health care for senior citizens.

The author of this part of the bill, former senator and tax evader, Tom Daschle
Was credited today by Bloomberg with the following statement.

 Bloomberg:? Daschle says "health-care reform will not be pain free.
Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with
Age instead of treating them."

Just remember that Senators and Congressmen have their own healthcare plan
That is first dollar or very low co-pay which they are guaranteed the remainder of
Their lives and are not subject to this new law if it passes. One more thing (we) let them get away with.

 Please use the power of the Internet to get this mes sage out. Talk it up at the grassroots level....

We have the ability to address and reverse the dangerous direction the Obama administration and it's allies have begun and in the interim, we can make 
Their lives miserable.

I'm afraid that O's health plan savings will come from denying care to the the elderly (useless eaters) The culture of death is alive and well in the liberal world. Abortion on demand, euthanasia. Wake up people.

There are certain healt problems that come with aging. Did you take care of yourself, earlier in life, abuse with substances, including the cigarettes you are still smoking?

You reap what you sow.

It's not too late to change your ways.

You are in control of your destiny on earth; but ultimately your appointed day was made before your creation.

And even if O's healthplan did not pass, do you really want herotic measures on your life; sacrificing the quality of that life?

I would rather have 6 months of QUALITY, than QUANTITY hooked to life sustaining crap!

Meetze, on this (and I know this will scare you) I agree. In my career I see people everyday that we have treated for occlusive disease in their legs,thousands of dollars are spent on them placing stents and using balloons to open narrowed vessels so they don't need amputations. Only to see these same people 8 months or a year later with re-occlusions, or new ones. Did they stop smoking? No! Did they control their diet?No Did they take their medication as needed ? No

I am all for treating people who help themselves, and because they were treated a bad genetic hand cannot prevent additional problems. But, there are plenty of people who have no intention of ever doing that.

As far as staying on life support ,that is an individual, spiritual decision that I think government has no place in making. The euthanasia road is not one we ever want to go down. And, for me personally, when we look at rationing health care for the elderly that is the beginning of that road. When we look at feasibility based solely on age.What is next hair color,skin color, nationality?

So we do agree on some things.

And the physician that dished out inappropriate care, made verified mistakes at the patient's expense of improvement of quality of life.

You CLAIM to work with 'these people' everyday.  What is their punishment?  They have the money to wiggled theiir way out, even when confirmed a DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OFFENDER AND A CLOSET DRUG ADDICT, and the  DEA, STATE AGENCIES, LICENSURE, does nothing, nothing, zero, nato, to support "Do No Harms".

MAY THEY BURN IN HELL FOR ETERNITY.  I HAVE THE CONTROL OF MY MEDICAL CARE.  AND BY DAMN WILL THEY EVER GET ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY FOR INAPPROPRIATE CARE.

PERHAPS THE 43 PRESCFRIPTIONS, I HAVE OVER THE LAST YEAR, BECAUSE OF INAPPROPRIATE DIAGNOSING AND PRESCRIBING, SHOULD BE ADDED TO THE COLECTION  FOR THE NEEDY.

SO SORRY, FORGOT YOU DO NOT HAVE A DISPENSING LICENSE.   THAT WOULD BE BREAKING THE LAW!

i fear that when i get 65 years old  i will lose my medicare  i hear meddicare atvantage is the best program that will be gone when i hit 65 yo.O)bamacare or his idea of healthcare is totally unconstitutioonal. healthcare not a right its a beifit from workbut he dosntt understant that at all.
