Looking for seized cars for sale or impounded cars for sale can be risky, but if you are organized there are many bargains at hand.
Impounded cars could be abandonded cars, repo vehicles and even seized vehicles.

The first thing I suggest you do is get a full list of vehicles on auction (I'll give you a link a little further down), and do your own valuation on all of the cars which you may be interested in. Set a ceiling bid / value for every vehicle and don't go above that price.

Note : The seized cars which you hope to bid on should have titles (or at least  - be able to be titled) otherwise you can't obtain insurance.

If you have not experienced a repossessed car auction already then I recommend you attend a few auctions beforehand in order to get a better comprehension of the process - it's crucial to build up some confidence because car auctions can be quite a nerve-racking experience on the first occasion.

Once you have attended a few auctions you may begin to recognize the regulars - the people in shirts and ties are most likely used car salesmen.

Note which vehicles they tender on , they're guaranteed to know the market (what price they can then market the car for) and furthermore the general condition of the cars - they will most likely be on good terms with the auction personnel and would get extra info - most certainly more than the general public.

Remember that the car dealers would like to churn out a fat profit on the vehicle so they can't offer as much as yourself - this sizeable profit that the salesmen would add on could be your huge savings ....
(This is the most secure method that I have revealed for obtaining cheap seized cars for sale - you could go it solo if you have skilled advice and feel confident.)

The top way to collect info about future repossessed car auctions are with  are with  Gov repo & seized car auctions , they are experts and maintain one of the leading, up to date and most dependable information archives of Government & Police auctions of used, repo, impounded and seized vehicles, trucks and SUV's.

Alternatively you can check through hundreds of sites, magazines and newspapers, plus / or contact various vehicle repo institutes and credit unions. This would take lots of time and effort , and honestly, you couldn't come near to the quantity and standard of up to date info which a business who focuses on this could. If you would like access to the top bargains to be had then getting the most complete and up to date info is imperative.

Hopefully I helped you a little with your search for repossessed and seized cars for sale.

All the best, and if you're patient and do the research you should be able to discover a great deal!

Are government seized cars reliable, or are they too good to be true?

I am currently browsing repo cars and I've heard about these gov't auctions of seized cars. I browsed the websites and I've seen brand new, $30,000 and up cars sold for $7g and less. Are these cars reliable?

Are repo or bank auto auctions a rip off?

There are auto auctions in the LA area, cars that come from repos etc.  this is where the dealerships go to buy a lot of their cars for their used car lots. But do ordinary people go to these as well?

They say people can get nice cards for like 60% or more less than at a used car dealership. Is this true?
