Segway fatality

As the segway popularity is on the rise I ask myself if there were a first segway fatality, I guess that some where in the world someone ended his life on this “hip” new ride.

Is that correct?

The first Segway-related fatality may have occurred around November 2004 in Las Vegas, NV when a 59 year old Ron Huber, took a spill in the pit area during the SKUSA SuperNats car racing event being held there
