Soldiers in the darkness

May just started a new job working in an office building. As she sat at her desk, working tirelessly alongside a few co-workers, she felt an ominous presence about them. Unexpectedly, all the electricity went off. There were no lights, no operating computers, and all the elevators stopped. They were in total darkness.
As they thrashed about in total darkness in search for light, they heard moaning and groaning, as though people were suffering in agony.
May stumbled upon a door leading to the outside. She informed her co-workers of the exit. As they proceeded to leave the building, they saw a man standing outside waiting to help them out. He informed them the building had been taken over by demons and pointed to a demonic mark on the building that can be seen from miles away. This man demanded that they hurry before it is too late.
The agonizing sounds inside grew stronger and louder. May could not bare the thought of leaving those helpless people behind, so she decided to help them. So, she and her co-workers decided to go back and rescue the rest.
It was then, they transformed into warriors of God and were suited for battle. As they scurried through the dark, death-filled building, they saw silhouettes of people being bludgeoned, cubed, and eaten by the demons with the smell of raw flesh lingering in the air.
In front of May was the most powerful warrior, her name is Dominance. Dominance helped May to lead the rescue team through this pit of hell that once was an office building.
The demons became plentiful. May and the others were out-numbered. When the demons completed exterminating the people, they started to take out the rescue team. May saw a demonic spear rip through Dominance's torso. She looked around and saw death and gloom everywhere. May became afraid, as she fell to her knees and cried out, "God, help! We are all going to die in here!"
Something or someone in the darkness asked May her name. She responded. then, she had the courage to get off her knees. The demons became submissive and there was no more killing. As May progressed towards the exit, she looked back to see all the casualties and nothing was good.
Then, an alarm sounded and May had been awaken from a nightmare. She woke with the feeling that she caught a glimpse of hell or watched a war between good and evil. May has never been the same since.
Now, May understands that she has to chose a side. Either the side of good (God) or the side of evil (devil). Today, she lives fighting all evil.
