School won't let child in

My son is in the 11th grade. He has been going to a private high school. He was expelled on november 4, 2009. They think he was smoking marijuana off campus during lunch.

I have been trying to get the public school to let him go there, but they won't.

He is only 17 years old and has lived in bedford conty with me his hole life, where i have been paying taxesfor 17 years. Now the school system won't let him in. He has not done anything at all in a bedford county not to be let in school. What can i do to get him in school.

What does the law say about a child going to school. "NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND"

Life is a one lap race. Make many pitstops.

What do you mean by "they think"? Was he caught or do they have some sort of proof that he did what they say? If either is true, they are well within their rights to exclude him from attendance.

Cool Equal justice for All

The law works but the system needs changed, We all abide by the law but sometime it failes us. The same with the goverment. God bless the USA, Brign our troops HOME safely, To the men who did not get the credit they deserve, MAY GOD WATCH OVER OUR SERVICE MEN.

If it was not proven beyond dought you can sue the school district as to they think he was smoking marijuana off campus during lunch no proof but yet you go on to say you have been trying to get the public school to let him go there, but they won't there must be a valid reason for there deceison. Your best bet is contact is contact an attorney and see what they say about this.
